I had a very good night with the aforementioned Stephanie. That, and I slept till noon today, and as a result I am tired and sore. We're not officially going out at the moment... We're waiting on that till I make a decision about where I'm going to be living. Ugh, but I'm leaning towards SC more and more every time I come home. My family is bugging the shit outta me. In addition to that, there aren't any decent jobs around here. Basically my only options are industrial type jobs. I could work at the power company, laying power lines... I could work in a chemical plant in Hopewell... It doesn't look good. The nearest decent job is in Richmond, and that's just a little bit far away. OOOH, I could work at the pig farm over in Wakefield! They're always hiring!

Or, I could be living in an apartment in Rock Hill... A house in York... Or a house in Gastonia. And I could have a decent job. I could maybe work in IT for the many large companies with offices in Charlotte. Classes are relatively cheap. And there are plenty of places I could work in the meantime.

Not only that, but living down there means I wouldn't have to be anywhere near my increasingly irritating asshole stepfather. Don't get me wrong, he's pretty cool most of the time, but when he's in a bad mood, he takes it out on me. And I know my parents are beginning to resent my being here. Hell, even I resent my being here.

Now that I think of it, there isn't any real choice. I think I made my mind up a long time ago. I just didn't want to accept it. I want to go home. I can't stay in this goddamn place anymore, it's driving me insane. I'm always restless. I'm always exhausted. Maybe if I had more friends here, or lived in a different part of the state, it would be different. But I can't afford to move elsewhere without a job, so my only option to get out of here is to go back home. South Carolina is the only place I've ever been really happy.

Nikki, make ready my couch. It's time to go job hunting.

Ugh, I'm too tired for this shit right now...

Okay, I'm gonna make this one short. I'm tired. Kinda hungry too... Anyway, not a whole lot going on right now... Went out with a pretty cool person named Stephanie the other day, we went to go see Shrek 2 together, followed by aimless wandering through the Tri-Cities area. Shrek was fucking hilarious. It had John Cleese! And *mysterious sounding accented voice* Antonio Banderas. I'm definitely gonna have to see that one again. GOD damn, it was funny.

I promised a few people that I'd update with the details of my trip to SC. Well, I've realized that I didn't really do anything, except sit on my ass and play FFXI. That, and I hung out with Khilid and Gabbie some. Oh, and we went to see that fucking Day After Tomorrow movie.

I had a bunch of other news-type stuff that i was gonna post on here, but I've forgotten it all. I'll post it later as it comes back to me.

But for now...

I'm gonna go make a sandwich.

BYE.

Home, Sweet... Ahh, fuck it.

Well, sports fans, I'm back in Waverly. First thing I did when i got home was listen to my mother lecturing me about my future. She wants me to work for the power company. Laying cable. Whoopdy-fuckin'-do. What the hell happened to this woman? She used to be so cool, now I can't get in the same room with her without a lecture. I'm going to college, what the hell else does she want from me? *sigh*

Ride home was super-fun. Ate at KFC on the ride home. Felt good. Ate at Dairy Queen half an hour later. Felt bad. Regurgitated my chocolate chip cookie dough Blizzard somewhere on Interstate 85. Felt good again. Continued super-fun ride home. Got home. Unpacked my car. Suitcase and Rifle Case are still sitting in the floor waiting to be opened. They'll prolly stay there for a day or two.

Anyway.

I have nothing more to say to you people.

I'm tired.

Go away.

BYE.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://dtucker84.blogspot.com/2004/06/home-sweet-ahh-fuck-it.html' title='Home, Sweet... It is freaking mental cat. It runs everydamnwhere and attacks feet and hands with impunity. You should see my hands right now. Not one square inch has been left unscarred. But that's ok. I love the kitty, and when it isn't in attack mode (which is rare) it is actually quite lovable, and clingy.

Anyway, in Final Fantasy news... I am now L11, and I'm finally in some decent armor, and I have new weapons. I have the full suit of Scale Armor, plus the Faceguard and Rabbit-Hide Mantle and Leather Gorget. I have the Bee Spatha (a Longsword) and Aspis Shield (Buckler-class), and I went ahead and got a Bronze Spear and am practicing with it in preparation for when i become a Dragoon. So far, my Spear skill is up to 14, and I think my Sword skill is at 34. I also made my first 5,000 gil today! Go me! Of course, as soon as I level up to the point where I need new equipment, that'll be gone, and then some. But I'll enjoy my financial security while it lasts.

Okay, well, it's 5 am now, so I'm going to go crawl to my couch now. I'll post some more news later.

BYE.

Insane Kitty

Hey, all, I'm writing from Khilid and Gabbies place at the moment. It's pretty nice. They're "livin' the dream." Anyway, as the days go by this place begins to feel more and more like home. Being near my friends and getting away from the constant problems and stress of life in Virginia has been refreshing, to say the least. Life is finally moving at my own pace, even if only for a while. I feel much better now. More later, gotta go try to fix Gabbie's car.

BYE.

Square Enix owns my soul...

Hmmm... I forgot to mention is my last post, I have become painfully addicted to FFXI. I currently play a tall-ass Elvaan Fighter named Terek on the Asura Server. I'm trying to get ahold of some L7 armor, because my bronze L1 armor makes me look like a male stripper. And I don't like that look. Definitely not me. Anyway, gonna go play now.

BYE.

My First Post. Yay...

Okay, I'm doing this blog thing now... Primarily because Nikki told me to, and I am her eternal bitch. Plus she went to all this trouble of building me this here nifty website. Besides, it'll be nice to bitch to an audience.

I went swimming last night. With Nikki. In the Dark. NAKED. Ok, the naked part isn't true. But it was a good time nonetheless. It made me quite tired. I haven't really exerted myself since I got myself fired from PetSmart. All I did was set my uniform shirt on fire after work last Monday... Hey, I worked from 8:30am to 10:40pm that day, dammit. I felt more than justified. Besides, it's my goddamn property anyway. I got arrested for that one last friday. Went to pretrial on monday. My trial date is July 26. God, Virginia has the DUMBEST fucking laws... The way the law against what I did is worded, it'll be damn near impossible to escape conviction. And this "offense" carries jailtime with it. For burning a FUCKING SIX DOLLAR SHIRT!!! DESTRUCTION OF MY OWN PROPERTY???

Okay, I bought a fucking pizza a couple weeks ago and ate it all. It was worth twelve dollars. Ok, A PIZZA costs more than my shirt. Why don't they arrest me for destruction by eating??? If I ate my shirt would I not have gotten in trouble???

The real kicker is, the cops who showed up at the scene LET ME GO. The only reason this is an issue is because my fucking manager felt that she needed to inform the authorities. So now it goes past those two nice policemen because Regina decides it's her civic duty to go tell on people. Jesus Christ, I bet she's been doing that since kindergarten, too. Little Jimmy spent the afternoon at school getting his ass beat because Regina told the teacher he wouldn't share his fucking dump truck.

I already got fired for this. Now they add insult to injury.

Okay, now that I've got that outta my system, on to the happier parts. I've been talking to a really nice girl in Virginia over the internet. I haven't met her yet, but we get along pretty well. I look forward to seeing if this'll go anywhere.

Me and Nikki are going to go see The Day After Tomorrow tonight. Yay, I get to sit through incessant Republican-bashing and constant self-affirmation from the liberal entertainment industry that exists to tell us all what we should think.

Liberalism is a contradiction in terms, in my opinion. The root word is Liberty, yes? Why, then, do they want an all-encompassing central government? This only serves to ELIMINATE many of the freedoms we currently enjoy! Am I the only one seeing this??? A lot of their policies bear striking resemblance to those of socialist european states.

THE FUCK!

Anyway, I'll get into this more later. See the liberals have the entire media to shove their views down our throats (excepting Fox News. ^_^), I get this little insignificant blog. Yeha, that's fair.

BYE.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://dtucker84.blogspot.com/2004/05/my-first-post-yay.html' title='My First Post.
